Our  DIET, cuttack develops a beautiful Balvatika laboratory with the help of FLN teachers and the pupil teachers. It is another resource room of DIET. Around 1000 TLM were prepared and beautifully decorated in the Laboratory. The Balvatika laboratory contains Literacy Corner, Numeracy Corner,  EVS Corner, Puppet Corner and sports Corner.

The important objective of the Balvatika laboratory are

• To strengthen the Foundation of early education for children in our district.
• To provide an experiential learning platform  by using concrete material.
• To strengthen toy based, game based pedagogy.
